I have been a resident of Waimanalo for twenty-six years. During the recent rain and flood Mr. Kodama and his son, Kyle, were at Frankie's Drive Inn wading through the muck. Stan was in his business attire, Aloha shirt, black slacks, and rubber boots, and Kyle had the high pressure hose on full throttle. They were clearing the mud out of the parking lot. I felt a lot of pride and joy to see the Kodama's focused on reopening Frankie's.
Kudos to Stan and Kyle Kodama, two of the many wonderful Waimanalo residents who make a difference in our community. The Feed Store, Laundromat, and Kodama family are assets to Waimanalo Town.
Sincerely,

The Waimanalo News is such an excellent means of communicating with the Waimanalo community. I personally want to thank you for this very needed service. Your paper has provided us with the means to spread information in a timely manner. It also teaches our students that they need to be able to write in a clear manner. We read the paper as soon as it reaches the school, cut out Keneke's coupons and any articles of especial interest to us and put them on the bulletin boards for all to acknowledge! Let your advertisers and contributors know that the community reads the ads and checks out the calendar. Again, thank you for your newspaper!
Sincerely,
